About Project
About the Stations
As part of its commitment to sustainable solutions for the water crisis in Gaza, ETA – Abdel Salam Yassin Company, in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), has manufactured and deployed seven mobile water desalination stations to meet the urgent humanitarian needs in displacement areas.
These stations have been strategically installed across the Khan Younis and Central governorates, and are designed using advanced reverse osmosis (RO) technology, built to operate efficiently in emergency conditions while ensuring high water quality.
Production Capacities:
- 6 stations with a daily capacity of 40 cubic meters each.
- 1 station with a larger capacity of 120 cubic meters per day.
- Total combined output: 360 cubic meters per day of clean, safe water.
Key Features:
- Compact, mobile units for quick deployment and setup.
- Energy-efficient systems optimized for harsh environments.
- Integrated disinfection and monitoring systems to ensure water meets drinking standards.
Humanitarian Impact:
These stations now serve as a lifeline for over 40,000 displaced individuals in Gaza, providing daily access to safe drinking water and reducing the burden on host communities and health facilities.
This project represents a powerful blend of technical innovation and humanitarian impact, turning engineering into hope.
