7 Stations of Hope: ETA and the Red Cross for Gaza

In collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross, and in response to the growing humanitarian needs in Gaza, ETA – Abdel Salam Yassin Company – implemented a pioneering project by manufacturing and equipping seven water desalination stations of varying capacities, to provide clean water for tens of thousands of displaced people in Khan Younis and the Central Governorate — a remarkable achievement that blends the challenges of reality with the creation of hope, combining efficiency with profound humanitarian impact.

Water Desalination System for Hemodialysis – Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital

As part of its commitment to delivering innovative engineering solutions in the field of water treatment, Abdelsalam Yaseen Company – ETA has implemented a specialized project to design, manufacture, and install a dual-stage RO desalination system for low-salinity water, with a production capacity of 50,000 liters per day, to meet the needs of the hemodialysis department at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, Central Gaza Strip. The system was entirely manufactured at the company’s headquarters in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, using high-efficiency technologies and standards compliant with medical water protocols. A dedicated and isolated technical room was also constructed to protect the system and ensure its continuous operation under diverse environmental conditions. This vital project was funded by the World Health Organization (WHO) and carried out under the direct supervision of the Palestinian Ministry of Health, aiming to provide a reliable source of clean and safe water for dialysis procedures, thereby improving the quality of healthcare services provided to patients and ensuring the continuity of medical operations.
